Memorial High School
As project architects, Stantec faced the challenge of “updating a 55-year-old school while preserving its pride and history.” A lightweight facade system was a perfect part of the design solution. They chose to use 30,000 square feet of Trimstone panels faced with Cottonwood Top Ledge limestone from Kansas.

Trimstone lightweight natural stone panels are over 70% lighter than traditional 3cm full-thickness stone cladding. Our patented cladding system simplifies the installation process. This allows for Trimstone to be installed at significantly faster rate than traditional dimensional stone.
Our lightweight stone honeycomb panel system is comprised of natural stone veneer securely bonded to high-strength, aviation-grade, aluminum honeycomb and FRP sheets. These elements have been thoroughly tested, yielding the highest certifications and performance standards in the industry.
