Stone Panels
Trimstone® is a lightweight natural stone panel designed and manufactured for exterior and interior cladding applications. Natural stone is bonded to a high-strength, aviation-grade aluminum honeycomb backing. This results in panels that are over 70% lighter than traditional 3cm full-thickness stone cladding.
Trimstone® panels are available in almost any type of stone. As a rule, a stone that would be considered for a traditional stone facade can also be used in the manufacture of our panels. This selection naturally includes granite, limestone, marble, sandstone, travertine, and more. Trimstone® panels are typically designed and produced for panel-to-panel attachment, utilizing our patented ‘joint channel’, creating a relatively seamless appearance while also allowing for an easy and efficient installation.

Trimstone® panels are typically produced as cut-to-size pieces based on the dimensional specifics of the architectural design. Individual panels can be as large as 60″ x 120″.

Trimstone panels enjoy many logistical advantages, especially when considered opposite a conventional full-thickness stone installation.

As discussed previously, the simplicity of our natural stone panels allows the installation contractor to compress the project schedule in terms of both preinstallation logistics and on-site production. In conjunction with our competitive unit pricing per SF, the client realizes significant in-place savings. This is particularly true when legacy-type stone installations are the other option.
Freeze/Thaw Stable
Trimstone® panels were given higher grades than our competition on all ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) tests conducted under freeze and thaw cycles.
Water Resistance
All Trimstone® panels have a durable epoxy skin, which protects the honeycomb core with a waterproof barrier. Our system has passed the stringent Miami-Dade wind driven rain test.
Impact Resistant
Trimstone® has superior energy absorption and impact resistance. Our panels exhibit flexural strength and warpage thresholds that are significantly greater than those normally seen in a legacy-type of material such as 4 cm granite slabs.
LEED Certification
Our panels can contribute to LEED points in a variety of different categories. For example, when they are used as a rain screen over an existing wall, that would contribute in the “building reuse” category. Please contact us with specific project details.
